Dear
Egyptian Castle,
I'm born and
raised in Canada
but I am an
Egyptian, and
ever since I
visited Egypt
I'm in love with
it. I'm going to
high school next
year, and I have
the choice of
either taking it
in Egypt or
Canada, but a
part of me tells
me that I should
stay here
because of my being
so active with
the Muslim
community.
There's a
program here
where you take high school
on a stronger
level (IB) and I
might be
accepted but
should I leave
all these great
things I have
got going for me
and leave to
Egypt? I don't
know, I'm just
confused. I hope
you can help.

Dear
Sherine,
Visiting Egypt
and living there
for an extended
period of time
are completely
two different
things,
especially if
you were born
and raised in
another country
such as
Canada. In
our opinion you
shouldn't gamble
with your
education.
Stick with what
you know
especially if
you are
confident of the
level of
achievement you
can get
to. Don't
ever give up
your love for
Egypt, but also
take what's best
for you.
